Key Features & Benefits

The extra strength double sided tape consists of a high-density, closed-cell PVC foam core. Coated on both sides is a high-performance viscoelastic acrylic adhesive. This combination creates an exceptionally strong and near permanent bond; mechanical fasteners (screws, rivets being the prime example) can be completely replaced.

The double sided pvc foam tape itself offers high tensile strength (≥800 kPa) and excellent peel strength (0.82 N/mm). A wide variety of substrates - glass, various forms of metal, stainless steel specifically, all plastics - will hold securely to this tape.

The closed-cell foam structure forms a permanent seal; water, any type of moisture, dust and simple air all cannot penetrate. Excellent UV resistance, near infinite temperature extremes (-40°C being a low point, over 100°C the other way), chemicals and near all solvents are well within the double sided pvc foam tape's capabilities.

The foam core acts as a true cushioning material. Impact energy is absorbed, small to medium vibrations dampened, and to a large extent noise transmission is reduced. Delicate components (automotive, electronics, machinery if properly designed) suffer little if any shock based damage.
