High temperature masking tape is designed to withstand high temperatures, often up to 260°C (500°F), making it suitable for use in extreme conditions like powder coating or automotive painting. Suitable for use in multiple industries such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, and painting.
Backed by Jiangsu Gelly Adhesive Material Technology Co., Ltd and our 30 years of adhesive expertise, our High-Temperature Masking Tape Series is engineered for the most demanding industrial environments, from automotive paint booths to PCB manufacturing. We offer a comprehensive matrix of heat-resistant tapes tailored to your exact thermal and chemical requirements. Whether you need the superior conformability of crepe paper for automotive baking (up to 150°C), or the extreme thermal stability of PET/Polyimide films for powder coating and SMT soldering (up to 260°C), Gelly delivers sharp paint lines, chemical resistance, and guaranteed clean, residue-free removal.
High-Temp Crepe Paper Series (80°C - 150°C): Features a flexible crepe paper backing with a heat-resistant modified rubber adhesive. Ideal for automotive refinishing, paint booth baking, and curved surface masking where excellent conformability is required.
Extreme-Temp Film Series (200°C - 260°C+): Utilizes premium PET (Polyester) or Polyimide (Kapton) film backings with a specialized silicone adhesive. Designed for extreme conditions like powder coating ovens, anodizing baths, and PCB wave soldering where standard tapes would melt or degrade.
Exceptional Heat Resistance: Withstands extreme baking and curing cycles without warping, shrinking, or adhesive degradation, ensuring reliability in industrial ovens.
Superior Adhesion & Clean Removal: Bonds firmly to metals, plastics, and painted surfaces but peels off easily in one piece after heat exposure, leaving absolutely zero sticky residue or surface damage.
Chemical and Solvent Resistance: Effectively resists penetration from harsh automotive solvents, paint thinners, and plating chemicals, ensuring crisp, bleed-free edges.
Flexibility and Conformability: Our crepe paper series bends seamlessly around complex contours (e.g., wheel arches, bumper curves) without lifting or breaking.
Eco-Friendly and Safe: Manufactured using non-toxic, solvent-free processes, ensuring safety for operators and compliance with environmental standards.
Automotive Spray Painting & Refinishing: Masking windows, trim, and complex body contours during multi-stage painting and high-heat booth curing.
Powder Coating & Industrial Ovens: Shielding threads, grounding points, and critical areas during high-temperature powder coating and curing processes.
Electronics & PCB Manufacturing: Masking gold fingers and sensitive components during SMT reflow, wave soldering, and high-heat testing.
Surface Treatment & Anodizing: Protecting specific zones during chemical milling, electroplating, and anodizing baths.
Proven Expertise: Gelly specializes in high-performance adhesive solutions, with tapes rigorously validated for extreme conditions in automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries.
Comprehensive Customization: We offer tailored sizes, custom colors, and specialized adhesive formulations (including 1-6 color logo printing) to meet your exact project needs.
Reliability in Demanding Environments: Our tapes undergo strict testing for tensile strength (up to 100 N/25mm for film series) and thermal stability, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency.
Full OEM/ODM Services: Understanding that every project is unique, our 70+ person R&D team provides comprehensive OEM and ODM support, from jumbo rolls to private-label packaging.

A Strong and Established Tape Manufacturer

Important Material Science Note: Standard crepe paper physically degrades and carbonizes at temperatures above 150°C-160°C. Therefore, our Crepe Paper Series is engineered for automotive baking up to 150°C. If your specific process (like powder coating or SMT soldering) requires true 260°C (500°F) resistance, you must use our PET or Polyimide (Kapton) Film Series with a silicone adhesive. Please contact our technical team to select the exact material for your oven profile.
No. Both our modified rubber adhesive (for crepe paper) and silicone adhesive (for films) are specifically formulated to remain chemically stable under extreme thermal stress. They guarantee clean, residue-free removal in one piece, protecting delicate clear coats, metal finishes, and PCBs from damage.
For powder coating ovens and harsh chemical anodizing baths, we highly recommend our Green PET High-Temperature Tape. The dense PET backing and silicone adhesive provide outstanding resistance to high heat (up to 220°C), acids, and alkalis, ensuring zero edge-lift or chemical bleed-through.
Absolutely. As a direct manufacturer, we offer 1-6 color flexographic printing directly on the tape for branding and anti-counterfeiting. We also utilize advanced precision die-cutting and slitting machines to provide custom narrow widths (down to 3mm) and complex shapes for automated electronics manufacturing.
