High temperature masking tape is engineered for automotive painting. It features a durable crepe paper backing coated with a natural rubber adhesive. This tape is designed to withstand extreme temperatures up to 260°C (500°F), making it suitable for high-temperature baking processes in automotive refinishing.
Exceptional Heat Resistance: Its capability to endure temperatures up to 260°C ensures reliability during paint curing and baking cycles, preventing melt-through or adhesive failure.
Clean Removal & Strong Adhesion: The adhesive formula provides a secure hold on surfaces like metal, glass, and plastic during painting but peels off cleanly afterwards without tearing or leaving sticky residue.
Superior Chemical Resistance: The tape effectively resists penetration from solvents and paints, which is critical for achieving sharp, bleed-free paint lines.
Excellent Conformability: The crepe paper backing is flexible, allowing the tape to conform smoothly to the complex curves and contours of a vehicle's body, ensuring precise masking.
