This pressure-sensitive cloth duct tape (commonly known as gaffer tape) is designed for heavy-duty sealing, holding, and repair tasks across Europe. It features a laminated polyethylene (PE) or textile fabric backing coated with a strong rubber-based or hot-melt adhesive, providing reliable adhesion to carpets, uneven surfaces, and industrial materials. The tape is waterproof, residue-free upon removal, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

High Adhesion & Tensile Strength

Adhesion Strength: 3–4 N/cm (peel adhesion) - secure bonding is the primary concern; carpets, various plastics, and metals are all suitable substrates

Tensile Strength: The near constant 35-55 N/cm range provides a good level of, near perfect, resistance to any form of tearing under applied stress

Elongation at Break: 9-18% if pushed to the limit, flexibility is maintained without snapping

Durable Backing Material

Primary Material: Laminated PE/cloth or gauze type fiber blend, anti-abrasion and to a point completely waterproof

Thickness: The previously mentioned 0.17-0.26mm strikes the best balance of all factors considered

Temperature & Weather Resistance

Operating Temperature Range: -50°C being the lower end, +65°C upper (some variants push closer to 121°C)

Waterproofing and all related humidity resistance makes this ideal for more open/damp environments or truly outdoor based carpet sealing
